Pros

I joined Silverline several months ago and, without a doubt, the people make working at Silverline one of the most unique opportunities in the Salesforce ecosystem. Smart, nice, and always willing to help...my colleagues have made it easy to get up to speed quickly. Silverline's client work is also very interesting and it's been exciting to see Silverliners support the vaccine rollout and other COVID-19 response projects at major health systems.

Cons

COVID-19 has limited the ability to get teams together in person to build connections, so I am looking forward to that (hopefully) in 2021.

Pros

Great colleagues. Super helpful. All support you to learn. You get to experience and interact with overseas clients. all remote work only.

Cons

Company is headquartered in New York, but never get a chance to travel. Anything goes wrong in US, employees here bear the brunt. Top leadership in India have no opinion in US decisions.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and share your thoughts with us. We agree that we have wonderful colleagues at Silverline and are glad you felt the support of our community! Regarding onsite interactions with clients and colleagues, we know these can be powerful, but, like many consulting firms, we are also navigating changing perspectives about client and internal travel. We also value your feedback about how our India and US teams worked together. While we are always working to improve our global coordination, our India leadership team works very closely with our US leaders.

Pros

Truly the best people to work with. The amazing colleagues are the reason many people stay, despite a LOT of pains within the company.

Cons

Silverline used to be the best place to work, but it's fallen so far from what it used to be, that it barely resembles the company that won so many awards. Company values are just words now. They used to mean something, but now they are just a weapon for management (and yes, management is the correct term, leadership would be too generous) to use to say they're listening and focused on employees, when all but very recent actions have proven that isn't really happening. The People team should officially change it's name to HR, as they really aren't people focused at all, but rather on policy and rote-HR activities. Certain members of the team are a huge hindrance to cultural growth or regeneration - the opposite of what people on such a team should be. Management sits behind a closed door now. Yes, we have weekly office hours with the CEO, which is great, but many things feel like propaganda these days. There's definitely a lot more going on behind the scenes and yet they tout trust and transparency all the time. I'd call it a joke, but it's just too sad to be called one. The biggest issue is that people no longer feel like they can be honest or speak up when things aren't going well, for fear of retribution. That means a lot of issues sit and fester and management can have their heads in the sand thinking things are fine, since no one is saying anything.

Thank you for letting us know how you feel about your experience at Silverline. We hope you will come speak with any of our leaders, as the door is open and we are listening. We truly would like to understand why it doesn't feel this way for you. We have made changes over the last 18 months to support the next chapter of our growth as a company, and are already seeing the outcomes we had hoped for in creating more opportunities for our employees and their personal growth. Just this week we introduced another opportunity for our employees to provide direct feedback: a small round-table discussion with our CEO and President, the founders of our organization. We want to ensure that we hear from employees however they are comfortable providing feedback. Our CPO will also hold the same types of forums with team leaders to understand where and how to support them, especially given the challenges of the last few months. The more we engage and provide opportunities for direct discussion, the better we will understand what is going well and where we need to continue to improve.

Pros

Leadership truly lives and promotes company values- "Celebrate each other", "Do the right thing even when it's hard", "Better together". Listens to employees and promotes work/life balance. Strong relationships with Salesforce and investment in the partner ecosystem. Colleagues are willing to help each other out and go the extra mile and lots of very smart, experienced individuals.

Cons

Growing fast and processes are changing to support larger engagements

Pros

The company is great. Most of my colleagues are some of the brightest people in consulting. The company is highly focused on being the best at 2 verticals: FS and HLS. We work with some of the greatest FS and HLS organizations in the world and small enough where everyone's contributions are impactful.

Cons

I can't say there are many cons. It all depends on perspective. There are certainly bigger companies that have more resources and smaller companies that have more of an entrepreneurial environment. Silverline is that place where you get the best of both worlds.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. It's encouraging to hear that two of the best parts of your work at Silverline are our people and the work we're doing for our clients. We also agree you get the best of both worlds here!
