"I started PinoPino Plush with the dream to create something I wish I had as a kid and something I wish for my kids now... dolls & toys that look like them and inspire them to learn about their culture! PinoPino Plush's mission is to do our part in creating more representation and inclusion in the toy industry and to bring more diversity into our children's playrooms. It is super important for me personally to be part of a company that focuses on Diversity, Equity, and inclusion. I am grateful to work for a company that truly wants their employees to feel supported, seen, heard, respected, and represented, and allows for a safe environment for their employees to be their authentic selves."- Alyssa T., Sr. Benefits Analyst at Glassdoor. Alyssa, we are in awe of your passion, grit, and tenacity in creating PinoPino Plus. Celebrating and supporting initiatives that prioritize diversity is essential for creating a more just and equitable future.

    Pros

Great culture. Good people who care about the mission. Very low ego environment full of smart and helpful people. The company is currently going through transformation. Going from a startup culture to a larger company culture and Leadership is really trying to take the best aspects of both stages of company growth. The product is also transforming and it is really exciting to be a part of the transformation from just a company rating, reviews and salaries website to a professional community.

    Cons

Working remote is great, but it impacts culture and connection. Teams seem to always be overworked and stretched too thin. I don't personally feel it, but I hear about it from other teams. Glassdoor has a very very progressive culture that is really focused on DEI. Sometimes it feels like it's a bit too much and it can be distracting or counter productive.

      Interview

Seamless and standardized process with behavioral and technical questions. 3 interviews, one phone screen, a 1:1, and a panel interview. Recruiters are super hands on, communicative, transparent and helpful. They really want to equip you with all the resources you need to be successful and are rooting for you. Amazing process!
