Salesforce – Why Work With Us?

When you walk the halls of Salesforce, you instantly feel something special. That something is Ohana. When our founders started Salesforce, they were as intentional about the company culture they wanted to create as they were about the products they wanted to build and how they would go to market. They wanted to create a different kind of company. One centered around the Hawaiian concept of Ohana, which means family. And our Ohana includes not just our employees, but our customers, partners and communities. Today, Ohana is at the center of everything we do at Salesforce.

So what does Ohana look like in practice?

Authenticity - It's our employees knowing they can be their authentic selves and do the best work of their careers.

Togetherness - It's our customers and partners trusting that we are here to help them succeed.

Sharing - It's our communities believing as we succeed, we will share our success with them.

We bring our Ohana spirit to life inside and outside our company by living our values of Trust, Growth, Innovation, Equality, Customer Success, Transparency, Giving Back, Wellbeing, and Fun.

These are the values that unite us, inspire us and make us uniquely Salesforce.

We have offices all over the world. We take pride in our global footprint and the opportunities that gives to members of the #SalesforceOhana.

We have 59 sites in the U.S. alone! These are the cities that we call home:

  • Atlanta, GA
  • Boston, MA
  • Chicago, IL
  • Herndon, VA
  • Hillsboro, OR
  • Indianapolis, IN
  • Irvine, CA
  • Louisville, CO
  • New York, NY
  • Santa Monica, CA
  • Seattle, WA
  • Spokane, WA
  • Tampa, FL

And, a significant percentage of our population works remotely! We do everything we can to make Salesforce a caring environment for our employees — no matter where people work. For instance, Ohana@Home is a grassroots community of remote employees who started connecting over Chatter (our internal network) to share best practices for working remotely and engaging with our culture from their home offices. Our leaders took notice of the initiative and are helping to drive change through a variety of new programs and initiatives focused on our remote employees.

    Strategic Account Executive Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Wellington, Wellington
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Salesforce (Wellington, Wellington) in June 2018.

    Interview

Several interviews with hiring manager and VP's that consisted of good robust discussion and questioning. I was introduced to the team members early was extremely helpful for making sure there was a good cutural fit for both of us. You need to be proactive and understand Salesforce culture, values, products and services at high level and be ready for what might be expected of you at each step. Once decision was made offer process was quick.
