There were red flags that I wish I had paid attention to. A new financial audit revealed we didn't have as long of a runway as we'd previously thought. They began bringing remote employees in for visits less frequently. Engineers started getting fired every few weeks. Local employees who previously enjoyed working from home were required to be in-office. Developers who use scrum "points" to estimate workload (a very ballpark system never meant to be a measure of production) were told they had to start completing a certain number of "points" per sprint. I believe they stopped hiring remote employees altogether. When I was hired, it was like they couldn't get employees in the door fast enough. A year later, they laid off a significant percentage of the staff. I didn't realize at the time that the same thing had happened a few years before.

There are some in leadership roles who should not be - see my advice to management. For some this could be a con - Very religious group of people overall, so be prepared for religion to come up in nearly every conversation you have at work. For those with a lot of corporate experience, this may come as a surprise, as you were most likely always taught that it was not PC to bring religion into the workplace. I know that this has even been brought up in the interview process with some potential employees told that they needed to belong to a church if they wanted to work there. People should feel comfortable working in a place where they can choose to remain quiet about their religious beliefs if they so desire.
