Your impact
In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening Jacobs’ project delivery capability across New Zealand, working closely with our clients to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions. You’ll bring trusted experience in design-led project delivery in the water or transport sectors, helping to build confidence and credibility with clients while supporting the growth of our pipeline of work. As a Senior Project Manager, your ability to combine technical delivery with commercial and client insight will directly contribute to successful project outcomes and long-term partnerships.

Lead the successful delivery of infrastructure projects across scope, schedule, cost and quality
Build and maintain strong, client-facing relationships, acting as a trusted delivery partner
Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams to achieve project outcomes
Oversee project performance including risk management, financials, and reporting
Drive collaboration across teams and support the delivery of high-quality, compliant design solutions
Contribute to business development activities, supporting proposals and future work pipelines
Here's what you'll need
Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering design-led infrastructure projects
Background in water, utilities, or transport projects (water experience highly regarded)
Strong client-facing experience, with the ability to build trust and credibility
Demonstrated ability to manage projects end-to-end, including cost, schedule, and risk
Experience leading or working with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
