The role of Market Development Lead sits within the Government Digital Delivery Agency at the Public Service Commission. In this position, you will play a critical role in developing and mobilising the market for accredited digital identity services. You will provide advice and hands-on support to organisations, identify and develop opportunities for uptake, and lead initiatives that strengthen understanding and capability across the system.
You will act as a change agent, working directly with agencies and organisations to help them understand the value of accredited digital identity services, how these services support government digital outcomes and how they can be incorporated into digital strategies and roadmaps.
The role requires strong relationship management skills, excellent judgement, and the ability to translate complex policy, technical and market information into practical advice for senior leaders. You will operate as part of a small, specialist programme team responsible for establishing the Trust Framework and shaping a trusted digital identity ecosystem in Aotearoa.

This position sits within the Trust Authority Framework group which is responsible for operationalising the Digital Identity Services Trust Framework Act 2023.

The full salary range for the band is $166,725 - $207,480.
