Pros

Not even one that I can think of, except you will get in touch with latest technologies. Still it is questionable whether are you moving into the right direction or not.

Cons

1. Think hundred times before join Securonix. Please join only if you like mental torture, if you have enough habit with slavery, if you want to be a loyal puppet, if you are ready enough to not argue and accept you are a donkey, if manager says on your face. 2. If you are thinking that you are going to be a part of a “security company”. Let me clear your misconception. You will hardly find a core security guy around the corner. However they have one so called Threat department which is also separate from the world (May be running from Mars). You will never find the management, the board members are talking about this. If you are a security guy and unluckily joined this company, and if they promised you to sending you to Mars for doing Threat work, you will get to know three months you have to work from Earth and three months from Mars. Again it is very questionable if you can be a part of a Threat ever. 3. They have very poor shifting timings. You have to work for more than 11hours officially. As per the Factories Act 1948, every adult (a person who has completed 18 years of age) cannot work for more than 48 hours in a week and not more than 9 hours in a day. The arrangement of the shift timings are so beautiful may be it can happen you won’t get chance to have some food. If you want to have bath, food then forget about sleep. If you feel very sick and not able to go to office, it is not enough to dropping a mail and relax. You have to call, you have to drop a text and inform each and every person of the office (may be the security guard is included in the list as well). 4. The lower level process is so poor that, if some day ask to management sit and do whatever peoples are doing here and maintain all of them for one week. May be there will be a situation, no choice but sending them to doctor. Still people are surviving because they have fresher tag on their profile. 5. They have never ending probation period. If you think the very next day your probation period is over. Anytime they can send you the notice of termination of saying you have zero value for this company without any discussions or warnings. 6. Don’t ever go and argue with the managers, their maturity level is so down, don’t be amazed if they jump into a hand to hand fight like kids. No matter what, you have to accept you are a looser. A Jailer position in a jail more suitable for their roles and responsibilities. 7. They often raise questions on employees if they are deserving the given salary on their performance. I wonder if the managers are performing enough to deserve that. 8. There is no thing as HR personnel, just random under-qualified people with meaningless HR policies. They don’t even have dressing sense, but they will expect everything formal from you.

Pros

Great Product ;but...read the cons

Cons

This is a brutally honest review - estimated time to read - 2 minutes Worst company to work for Clueless management - they have vision but they certainly fail at implementing it They decide something one day Then they work on it for few days And all of a sudden they scrap the whole plan and come up with something new And this goes on and on and on... No work life balance People are asked to join all the meetings/conference calls there are There will be meetings at 9 am -- then office hours -- then there will be meetings at 8 pm -- another after 9 pm -- another after 10 pm... And yes there is no end time of the meeting. It will start on time but will never end on time - it will end only when if there is another meeting about to start or the organizer has another call to join They have people who started here right after college and are working as business owners or product managers who don't know how the things work in software industry. They just know how to harass people They have support team which comprises of more than 10 people whose only job is to take the bug from customer and route them to the engineering team rather than doing the initial investigation and probably solving the problem as it happens in any product organization Some people here are for more than 5 years..Some are approaching that number..And some are even more than that. I don't understand whether they enjoy this or are just accustomed to it or they just don't know there is a life outside the office Managers here discourage people from taking leaves- I mean this is common among managers outside as well but they do hell of a job here. I mean I can go on; but if you want to experience first hand ...The path to hell starts here ...Just join this company and enjoy the roller-coaster ride

Pros

I've been in the workforce for many years and never seen a company with zero "pros" until now. I'm 100% convinced the positive reviews are fake or coerced.

Cons

Securonix is essentially a caste system ruled by a small group of b and c player founders, friends and family. Everyone else are Sudra or lower and are treated like servants - regardless of the level they are hired at. - Extremely un-diverse mono-culture - Founders heavily micro-manage every detail - Penny wise, pound foolish approach to investment - Developers work in a very ad-hoc way resulting in extremely unreliable, poor quality code and unstable product - Little to no trust or empowerment of individuals and teams - Little to no focus on positive change - Not family friendly

Thank you for taking time to provide a detailed feedback. Senior managers and leaders are the driving forces of an organization and leaders who are not willing to go into the trenches to work with their teams often find themselves out of place here. Securonix fosters a collaborative work environment and senior leaders are still very hands on in their roles and have day to day interactions with their teams. We see this as a huge positive in Securonix since employees get to work closely with senior leaders and learn from them everyday.. Since the beginning of this year, we have made and are making investments in people, process and tools and have streamlined a lot of areas which is being felt by employees. Like all organizations, we continue to work on making things better for our employees and will stride on with our efforts.
