Pros

At the beginning the culture was good. Offers good training

Cons

Pay was not at market. Worry too much about diversity, detracts from good work. Hard to convince management on the value of conferences. However management seems to go on several a year. Seems to have several achoholics who work there as they are always talking and drinking at work. (After normal work hours) Several people have a poor work ethic.

Bad Pay and No Work Life Balance

Pros

Great co-workers and a supportive team environment. Direct managers care about their employees and work alongside them. The company invests in training and development, which helps employees build skills and grow professionally.

Cons

Full return to office and low pay/poor benefits. There’s little trust in executive leadership and they do not listen to their employees. The culture has shifted from being family-operated to feeling more corporate. There’s been a hiring freeze after over-hiring during the pandemic, so there’s no room for growth. Sales goals are often missed, so bonuses are small. I used to speak highly of this company, but it has steadily declined over the past few years.

Pros

Consistent Culture: From my interview process 4 years ago to my every day, the company hasn't changed at all. The message and culture are consistent. Lots of opportunity to Earn what you are worth. The compensation and bonus structure are super clear and don't change! There is no complicated math with commissions and they are always rolling out extra ways for you to increase your pay. A lot of great training. I came to this company with NO experience with nuts, bolts, hydraulics, or any thing like it. There is a clear training program with a ramp up to get on track and just focus on learning the industry one step at a time.

Cons

Promotional items sometimes sell much better than expected and we run out. Not always sure where I should reach out internally to solve a problem. Sometimes a ten minute problem takes an hour.

Pros

They do an excellent job of training you to go work for a company that actually appreciates your time investment and your abilities

Cons

District managers with criminal arrest histories. Regional managers who were absolutely fine with having commission stolen from a salesman. nepotism is the way. The longer you’ve been there the more counts you get and they get “grandfathered in“. Even if a large account is in your area, you can’t touch it.
