Pros

Stable paycheck. Good place for long term employees to cruise and take credit for the work of younger hard working staff

Cons

This place is a litigation firm run by Philly lawyers trying to cover itself up as an Engineering organization. PR department did a nice job pumping up the technology the company does not have. Nevertheless terrible reputation and very hard to get a job elsewhere afterwards. All the Innovators have left the company. Whatever left is second Tier fast sliding to third Tier. Vicious cycle of Hiring/firing and pointless reorgs.

Pros

Benefits & 401K, good people at the midlevels

Cons

Not sure where to begin except when you dump lots of staff who are over 40 in both the US and France and hire new shiny people who still do little more than have meetings to have meetings. When division heads use the company to wring out every last cent vs investing in training or speakers When you pay undermarket Private travel during the pandemic at $100K a pop

Pros

If you ever wanted to work for a patent troll or a lawyer, well, your dreams have come true and you have arrived at the perfect place. Just look at the management, this company is For Lawyers, By Lawyers.

Cons

This company replaces staff ~ 3 years, unless you are lucky enough to be an old timer and have friends, to be around for two decades. No vision, strategy and hence no job stability. Likely that all future layoffs will be in US since that is hard to do in France. Most of the work is to put some ideas on paper but pretty disconnected from technical work in real life. This company will be irrelevant in a few years and most probably won’t exist next decade.
