Pros

- No shortage of meaningful, complex problems to solve. The company is growing and there are no boring days. - Okay benefits package - Talented, intellectually sharp colleagues

Cons

Inefficient structure: Employees are stretched thin—expected to contribute fully to their core function while also serving on cross-functional “strike teams,” resulting in divided focus. Diffuse management: This structure often means having three to four competing stakeholders instead of a single clear manager, leading to conflicting priorities and decision paralysis. Power hoarding: At ~1,000 employees, the company is big enough to justify specialization, yet hiring remains painfully slow. Long-time employees often refuse to let go of projects or influence, clinging to legacy ways of working while still branding the company as “fast-moving” and “innovative.” Rigidness masked as agility: Despite branding itself as nimble and forward-thinking, the culture is rigid and overly cautious. Every initiative is subject to excessive oversight—especially from L7s and L8s who expect to be looped into even minor decisions. Artificial culture: The workplace culture is often performative—overly polished, overly cautious, and lacking genuine warmth. People tend to be persnickety, rigid, and disingenuous in their interactions, with little appetite for vulnerability or humor. Ironically, “Be Kind” is one of the company’s core values—but when you have to explicitly remind people to be kind, it’s usually a sign that something’s fundamentally off.

Pros

Working as a CX Associate at Faire has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The team is full of high-performing, talented individuals who truly care about collaboration and helping each other succeed. It's a people-first culture where continued learning is encouraged and supported. The pace is fast and energizing, and the compensation and benefits are among the best. Overall, it's a place where you're challenged to grow, supported by a team that genuinely wants to see you thrive.

Cons

Like many tech companies navigating today’s uncertain economy, job security can be unpredictable.

Pros

Great benefits, (generally) nice people and great mission.

Cons

The sales team functions as telemarketers. The job descriptions they use for AE roles aren’t accurate. These AE roles are extremely cold call heavy and mirror a telemarketer job.

Pros

-good fringe benefits, the "free" health insurance isn't the best option, but other plans cost much less than my old employer - free food - very nice team, generally interesting work pushing out new ideas; even in an ops role you won't really get bored -SF office is beautiful, slightly sketchy area but they have a lot of security in the building

Cons

- have to be comfortable with ambiguity; startup growing pains - onboarding could've been a bit more engaging/could've connected the new hire class together a bit more as it can be isolating - pay is typical for an ops role, though they hire consultants so would've expected slightly higher band

Pros

Faire was an amazing place to work. Great benefits, reasonable leadership that took into account reviews and product opinions.

Cons

Leadership was not always able to support teams due to multiple countries being incompeition for the most "support"

Pros

Great benefits and good salary.

Cons

Hire and fire culture. Some directors (withholding names) just hire for their teams then quickly fire then to increase their hiring counts, which is one of their performance metrics.
