Pros

Many managers and support staff are dedicated, hard-working, and genuinely committed to doing the right thing. The fully remote structure provides flexibility and work-life balance. Compensation and benefits are competitive and generally aligned with industry standards.

Cons

Unclear Process Changes: Operational or procedural changes are being communicated through email, without corresponding SOP updates or formal training. Despite this, employees are expected to perform flawlessly with no margin for error. Unprofessional Leadership Behavior: Members of upper management and the C-suite have demonstrated verbally aggressive behavior, including messaging employees to express negative communication for not attending last-minute after hours meetings. Unrealistic Workload Expectations: Teams are increasingly expected to work evenings and weekends to meet shifting priorities, without appropriate planning or recognition. Retaliation for Advocacy: Employees have been reprimanded for raising valid client concerns or speaking up to ensure client satisfaction and process alignment. Misaligned Sales Directives: Staff are being directed to promote and support products that are not yet fully ready for deployment. When client complaints arise, no corrective actions are taken—instead, employees are encouraged to continue selling and misrepresenting the product’s readiness.

Pros

The work is pretty easy and low stress if you’re not customer facing. Decent benefits.

Cons

Culture is pretty awful. Most people who work here are not super social. Main con is that they underpay their employees and the same people get promotions/move laterally and no one else does. I did product management for them for a year and a half before they gave me a title and a salary 20% lower than market rate. Left 6 months later and doubled my salary. Would not recommend working here to anyone. After my first 3 years there, I was making significantly less money than when I started when accounting for inflation despite taking on more and more work. I was owning product lifecycles for 63k/year for a while. I was lucky that I got to work my way up a bit, but that was only thanks to me advocating for myself and having one really great manager (of the five I had during my time there)

Pros

Flexible time off, pretty good benefits

Cons

PMO upper management is a joke. They are all in a clique and retaliate and bully everyone else. They keep moving up managers who are the most inadequate people in the company. The people who get promoted are the ones who are in the clique. We are told to follow emails instead of SOPs. Employees have lost all autonomy in our jobs, with EXTREME micromanagement coming from upper management/cross functional team. And surprise surprise - that is not helping improve retention.

Incredibly abusive environment

Pros

Remote work, great coworkers, good benefits

Cons

Controller (leadership) has unapologetic expectation that employees should work 12 hour + days and weekends with no end in sight, refused to properly staff, expects offshore employees to work beyond their skillset, is constantly critical, and exhibits no leadership skills. There is never a positive word to anyone. There has been a revolving door for quite a while with many (at least 4 that I’m aware) on the accounting team not surviving a year before burning out. CFO and HR have been aware for a while and have taken zero action to remediate. Morale is abysmal.
