Pros
After having to leave this job for a move abroad, I reflect back at my long tenure at Trade Me with nothing but fond memories. Trade Me is truly an exceptional employer who genuinely put their people first. - Pay is good - Perks are great - Office is awesome - People are fantastic If you want to work at an iconic Kiwi company that genuinely cares about the work they do, this is the place to be. When I return to NZ I will absolutely be trying to get back into TM, not many places in NZ I'd rather work.
Cons
Honestly - none. There is a vibe around that it has turned from a startup to a big corporate and some of that startup energy has been lost. Ultimately that is natural and I don't think the company can be blamed for that. The culture needs to come from the employees.
