Pros

- Really great environment for learning and growth. You will be supported in whatever certifications you want to go for, in fact it is encouraged. - There is major investment into their Junior talent as well, and any new graduates/apprentices joining feel welcomed and supported. - There is a push to get involved in company initiatives which is good to get people out of their shells and network, and it reinforces a sense of community within department and teams. - All in all, for learning and personal/professional growth, great culture. - Lots of diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Cons

The pay is a pittance! Not competitive at all! - Yearly pay reviews only increase your salary by £1k. What difference is £1k increase a year going to make?! That's not even keeping up with inflation, so really you're falling behind on salary every year. - with only £1k increase a year, within two years from a graduate salary (£30k) you'll be promoted to Lead Software Engineer, no doubt doing Lead Software Engineer work and responsibilities, but with only a salary of £32k. Pathetic! Absolute joke! - The benefits come in a 'flexible benefits' allowance of which most gets used up by pension and life assurance, and then whatever more benefits you choose come out of your salary. Not really benefits if you gotta pay for them. - Private health /dental is not even provided unless you choose it - other companies provide it as standard for ALL their employees. - Package is not competitive AT ALL for a software engineer in this industry. In fact, it's pathetic. You can come in demanding a good salary, but don't expect much of a raise year upon year.

Great ppl to work with, very collaborative environment. Great benefits, WLB, and paid time off.

Cons

Pros

Pretty flexible. It's cool if you get on a project with a good client, because honestly you will become like a low-class employee at that company who they all dont care about and expect you not to be around very long so if you can deal with that then you can try and have a good time with them.

Cons

Honestly can't believe the audacity and entitlement of the middle management at this place. For example, last year everybody got about 3% merit raises (not at all keeping up with inflation but still something). This year, they were working with the same pool of funds to work with for raises, but made a "business decision" to consolidate the raises to only management. The rest of us got nothing. And the TOLD us they kept everything for themselves. And in addition to that, they twisted the knife by COMPLAINING to the whole department on a department call that their bonuses weren't enough. Just tone-deaf and careless mostly.
