Pros

Fair amount of flexibility and work life balance. Good comradery in office, because everyone is in the same situation.

Cons

Complete disorganization. No career path. Frequent layoffs (it is an outsourcing company). Lofty goals and poor execution. Little to no training and low quality when it happens. No feedback, i.e. no one-on-ones, no meetings with managers, no skip levels. You work in a vacuum. No communication. No one knows what's going on. Plans are sometimes distributed, but no one follows them. Teams do redundant work. Clients are constantly dissatisfied and feel they are being ignored. Substandard vacation package. This company still uses sick days, but punishes you for using them. Fewer holidays than normal companies. Doesn't honor Dr. King. This is a foreign company and decision makers often talk in a foreign language to their favorites even if everyone in the room doesn't speak that language. NMJ (not my job) is the typical response if you want anyone to go beyond doing the minimum required by the job. Very low morale. Low quality building with no facilities and frequent problems (repeatedly losing water, heat, air conditioning, closing bathrooms for repair - even had employees using porta-potties in the parking lot).

Pros

Pretty flexible. It's cool if you get on a project with a good client, because honestly you will become like a low-class employee at that company who they all dont care about and expect you not to be around very long so if you can deal with that then you can try and have a good time with them.

Cons

Honestly can't believe the audacity and entitlement of the middle management at this place. For example, last year everybody got about 3% merit raises (not at all keeping up with inflation but still something). This year, they were working with the same pool of funds to work with for raises, but made a "business decision" to consolidate the raises to only management. The rest of us got nothing. And the TOLD us they kept everything for themselves. And in addition to that, they twisted the knife by COMPLAINING to the whole department on a department call that their bonuses weren't enough. Just tone-deaf and careless mostly.
