Pros

Fairly positive culture, Good benefits.

Cons

It's now 2 merged companies and still sorting out the culture. The European company is better managed but has a weird set of tools. The American side messed up inventories and everyone took a pay cut, but they use a much more industry standard set of tools.

Pros

Global sales meetings offer a platform for forging significant alliances and cultivating productive networks with professionals across various companies. Engaging in trade shows further facilitates networking and the development of mutually beneficial relationships. Furthermore, the availability of remote work options enhances location flexibility and supports a harmonious integration of professional and personal life.

Cons

Adtran's primary focus is centered around its stock price, overshadowing the overall organizational outlook. Despite proclaiming a family-oriented culture, the company often makes hollow promises regarding salary increases and exhibits a preference for external candidates over internal ones. Dedication and contributions beyond assigned roles go unnoticed unless individuals are physically present at the headquarters or actively engage with management. It is disheartening to observe how excessive email communication garners more recognition than consistent productivity. The company predominantly comprises long-term employees of 20 years or more, with rare instances of individuals with shorter tenures of 4 to 8 years.
