Pros
-It paid an okay salary -401k matching up to 3% (the website to access this was more intuitive and consistently reliable to access than any other program required to be accessed by employees on the job)
Cons
-12 hour swing with 4 days on 4 days off (this is not as good as it sounds) -Confusing timecard system -Inconsistent management -Unprofessional atmosphere -Lab equipment consistently broken or inaccurate (computers ran on windows 95, xp, 7, no consistent software adoption and most of the time these computers had serious issues in running equipment) -Horribly ineffective onboarding -High turnover rate -On paper almost no vertical mobility (they hire higher positions from outside and a low employee number for this role means any promotion would be many years out and were dependent on people leaving the positions) -Disgusting environment with fresh or polymerized oil on every surface (expected for this area, but wasn't ideal) -You are told to reject samples and carriers based on your findings for the sake of food safety, but will be reprimanded for doing so, as ADM values speed over accuracy in practice, regardless of their statement toward safety over all else.
