Scheduler / Dispatcher – Yogi Electrical Services | New Zealand
Join a busy Auckland electrical contracting company and play a key role in coordinating electricians, customers, and urgent service jobs across residential and commercial projects.
What You'll Do:
Schedule and allocate daily electrical jobs to field electricians
Assign work based on location, availability, and skill set
Manage urgent callouts and emergency electrical faults
Receive and confirm customer bookings via phone, email, or online
Communicate job details clearly to electricians
Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as needed
Update job management systems and scheduling software
Maintain accurate records of bookings, job status, and reports
Coordinate after-hours and weekend emergency dispatch when required
Keep customers updated on timing, delays, and job progress
What We're Looking For:
Strong communication and organisational skills
Experience in scheduling, dispatch, administration, or customer service
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Good computer skills (email, spreadsheets, scheduling systems)
Calm and reliable under pressure, especially during emergencies
Experience in trades or electrical industry is an advantage
Familiarity with dispatch or job management systems is helpful
