About the Role
The Clinical Engineering Service at Te Toka Tumai is responsible for the management and maintenance of clinical equipment across our hospitals, providing frontline support for medical device-related issues. The Junior Technician role is an excellent opportunity for recent Electrical Engineering graduates or similarly qualified applicants to build a career in Clinical Engineering while contributing to the delivery of safe, high-quality healthcare services. The role is primarily based at Auckland City Hospital, with occasional travel to other local sites.

They play a critical role in ensuring the availability, safety, and efficiency of clinical and non-clinical goods and services across the health system. Responsible for managing and influencing over $9 billion in annual spend, the team are central to delivering high-quality patient outcomes and standardising product usage across regions.
