Step into a role where your technical insight and commercial acumen genuinely shape project outcomes. You’ll support Project Managers across a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure works, providing guidance on safety, quality, environmental compliance, procurement, scheduling and programming.

Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage procurement of suppliers and subcontractors, including preparing purchase orders and subcontract agreements
- Track and reconcile subcontractor and supplier costs against project budget
- Assist and undertake preparation of variation claims
- Assist and undertake the maintenance of contract programme
- Assist with tender preparation and support the development and monitoring of contract programmes
- Provide technical input into safe work planning, including temporary works and hazard controls
- Carry out site set‑out, quality inspections, and support ITP and hold‑point compliance
- Maintain environmental controls on site, including erosion and sediment measures
- Uphold HEB’s Health & Safety standards, actively participating in toolbox talks and ensuring safe work practices
About You
You’ll bring:
- An Engineering Diploma or Bachelor’s degree
- A valid Full Class 1 driver’s license
- Relevant experience in civil design and/or construction
- Experience in surveying and set‑out
- Strong task‑planning skills, including allocation of plant, labour and materials
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD
- Experience supervising or supporting Site Engineers
- Knowledge of safe and efficient operation of construction plant such as cranes and piling rigs
- Understanding of temporary works design and implementation, including formwork, sheet piling, retention systems, staging and falsework
