Employment Type: Maximum Term Full Time
Junior Business Systems Analyst
Permanent Opportunity: Secure a long-term career path with a leader in healthcare
SAP & Technical Growth: Deep dive into SAP, WMS, and FMS environments
Technical Design: Move beyond testing—help design and document system changes
The Role
Healthcare Logistics (HCL) NZ, part of the EBOS Group, is seeking an aspiring Junior Business Systems Analyst for a permanent, ongoing position.
This is a career pathway suited to someone with a Computer Science, IT or related technical qualification who wants to master the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in a complex, large-scale environment. You will be responsible for documenting procedures, identifying opportunities for system elevation, and creating the business requirement documents that drive our business forward. Working closely with the National Systems Manager, you will balance daily system support (BAU) with high-impact projects.
What You Will Do: Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business users to identify needs and translate them into clear Functional Specification documents.
System Ownership: Become an SME for our core applications (SAP, WMS, FMS), troubleshooting issues and managing IDOC error flows.
Documentation & Standards: Maintain the regression test suite and update SOPs and work instructions to ensure operational excellence.
Quality & Testing: Coordinate the triaging of software bugs and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end-users to ensure high-quality releases.
Project Governance: Maintain the Issues Register and Risk Matrix, providing reporting on key milestones and system readiness.
Who You Are: Education: Tertiary qualified in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar technical field.
Analytical Logic: You understand system architecture and can translate technical logic into user-friendly language for the business.
Problem Solver: You have a natural aptitude for troubleshooting complex system landscapes and a keen attention to detail.
Documentation Focused: You take pride in creating structured, accurate documentation—from test scripts to process maps.
Self-Motivated: A proactive team player who is eager to take ownership and grow within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
