Very confusing process. I applied & got an email stating they would not be interviewing me. Two days later one that said they would and to schedule an appointment. I emailed for clarification and got no response. I finally just made an appointment and had a lovely conversation with a hiring manager. She said they were interested and make an appointment for me for the next steps. I prepared for this interview only to have it canceled at the literal last minute (as in, I was waiting to be let into the zoom room). They had taken the position off the website. I got an email from the hiring manager saying they had filled the position but I could still talk to the person I was meant to interview with about a different position. It took a few emails to learn this was basically just about being a contract position writer. I said I'd be interested in talking about that and was looking for full time work in addition. Multiple emails were never responded to. This ended up wasting a great deal of my time.
