Interview
The recruiter reached out to me to set up a call. We had our call and I thought it went well overall. Nothing was overly challenging as initial calls normally aren't. She said I'd hear back in a couple of days about next steps. I didn't hear back that week so I followed-up on Monday. Still have not heard anything. I have a lot of experience in the renewals space and having a company ghosting you just isn't it...
Informative, comfortable, consistent with the way the company appears from the outside looking in. Very communicative and open to questions and genuine conversation. Was impressed with each of the people I spoke with. Very genuine people.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Zendesk (Manila, Manila) in Jun 2021
Interview
Overall, my interviews went well from recruiter to the 3 hiring managers (from mid to higher management). But unfortunately this company made me wait for nothing whenever I followed up. At first I was told that one of the candidates rescheduled his/hers final interview. Then the following week I made a follow up again with the recruiter. I was told that next week I would get feedback. The following week came and went, no reply as promised by that recruiter. After weeks suddenly out of the blue, I got a call from the said recruiter to apologize because they had to process other candidates referred by other Managers in their organization. Though that same recruiter said I passed all my interviews. They still chose the other candidate who kept rescheduling his/her interviews. Goes to show there is a certain "mafia" in this organization.
My advice, if you have a contact inside then you might stand a chance. But if not, then just stay away from this company they will just make you wait until "the mafia" hires the one they want.
