I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at VMware (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2016
Interview
First round was with two different people. The first asked the usual behavioral questions, walk me through your resume, etc. The second asked specific questions about vmware to test my knowledge of virtualization, cloud computing, and vmware's product line. The second round was with a senior product manager, who asked me mini case questions. The third round was with two senior product managers, mostly behavioral questions and then asking about where I would like to work within the company. I got the sense that this portion of the interview was to determine where within the organization I would be a good fit. Throughout each round, I was given ample time (typically more than 10 to 15 minutes) to ask questions. I enjoyed all the conversations I had with my interviewers.

The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at VMware (Bengaluru)
Interview
I had 6 rounds of interview and an assignment to complete. I wad told that I was selected. The HR discussed the remuneration and benefits and took my verbal acceptance. I was told the official offer will be released in 2 days. 4 days later I was told that, there has been a decision to revoke and close this position (more like a hiring freeze that happens occasionally) and I would not receive my offer.

Question 1
Multiple rounds of discussion on what I have done in my current role and how I would be able to bring value to this role I am interviewing for.
Pretty lengthy process - required to prepare a pretty long presentation based on a use case scenario which consumed lots of my time. I have heard back from them after a very long time
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at VMware (Madrid)
Interview
