Paycom Software Engineer interview questions

Everything was fine. But during the tech part of the interview, I noticed the interviewer was very talkative. So I asked ahead of time if I could have 2 minutes to read and process the question before he offered any guidance. He only gave me about 20 seconds and kept interrupting my train of thought. It felt like a boss was standing over my shoulder talking the whole time. I got turned off by that. I let the time run out and ended the interview. Personally, would not apply again but others might not have the same experience.

I applied in 2024, the process was: Recruiter phone call -> technical coding interview -> behavioral interview -> offer. 1) Basic HR questions with recruiter, not really an interview 2) 1 hour technical interview, beginner programming questions into easy-medium leetcode question. 3) Behavioral interview with software manager, answers should be in STAR format. Everyone was nice and receptive throughout the hiring process for me.
