I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Capgemini in May 2016
Interview
Same happened 3 yrs back.
Attended interview on May 6th, 2016, Bangalore. For permanent position with Capgemini through consultancy reference. One complete day, technical rounds + HR discussion done. HR confirmed on BG check and offer release the very next day. But upto one week no updates. Me n fellow candidates were following up consultancy and HR, finally she sent details needed for BV check. After all the clearance and mail confirmations offer was not released.
My current employer has 3 months notice, but on interview day itself I made clear that it is negotiable upto 30 days as am in project buffer code. Through consultancy, HR has asked for email confirmations. After all these, still she not released offer for none. Instead, they are multiple times stressing on notice period and asking abt did u raise resignatikn and spoke with your employer. Without offer in hand, how to raise paper or talk to managers ?? Then luckily one fellow candidate got offer after he continuous followed up and agreed for within a week joining. To others the offer not released again.
Then one fine day she called up and asked me are you ready to join June 14th. HR kept saying their management not approving for 30 days time n want immediate joinees. I agreed, but she did not update. No response to my mails too. Consultancy said your position is internally closed, HR updated us that they ll keep ur profile open for next immediate openings. Later HR called on June 24 asking for July 14th joining, I again agreed. Same way no reply to calls and mails.
Wat is the gap here, y do u want to block an opportunity of a candidate. Each and every interview is equally important for people like me who needs a change for various career reasons. This was supposed to be my great growing chance.
Asking abt candidates notice and current project status only, our HR discussions get cleared and processed. Why do you want to break the confirmation made with candidate. What game or process is this ?
Was good.Consisted of multiple discussion rounds , face to face meeting and testing before the final offer was given Had a good experience with the hiring team and the flow was seamless.
