I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Autodesk (Bengaluru) in Mar 2026
Interview
1. Recruiter Screen - Background and role fit - Experience, motivation, salary expectations, communication
2. Hiring Manager - Product management fundamentals - Product thinking, problem solving, prioritization, relevant experience
3. Engineering Manager - Execution and technical collaboration - Working with engineers, requirements, trade-offs, delivery, technical understanding
4. Senior Design Manager - User-centric thinking - Product discovery, UX, collaboration with design, customer empathy
After all successful rounds, i got ghosted by the recruiters because the Director of Product Management left the team. Was really looking forward to the role.

Interview
Overall very good a bit slow in scheduling interviews and giving prompt responses but it's worth it. Interviewers are generally nice and ask relevant questions that pertain to your job.
First interview with the recruiter for roughly 30 minutes. This was followed by three different interviews first with the hiring manager, second with two products managers from the team, and then with two managers from the development organization.
