      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Autodesk (San Rafael, CA) in May 2016

      Interview

Initial call was made by the HR. First round of interview was directly from the hiring manager. He sounded very polite and respected your thoughts. After which was a complete technical round by 3-4 people, who were completely aware of what they were asking and what is needed in a person who was supposed to be there. Then there was a third round scheduled with the Senior Director, with Autodesk. She personally took each candidate who would be hired in her stream. She made me soo comfortable. She took a note of all the things I spoke, where felt very good as my thoughts are respected by such a senior person. She right away said I was fabulous!!!

      Question 1

What is the biggest risk you've ever taken? What would you add to Autodesk when you are hired? What is the most innovative thing youve done using a duct tape?

      Interview

There were 4 phone interviews. 2 people from 2 different teams. The hiring manager on one team asked me about experience I never claimed I had and did not follow through with me. The other hiring manager seemed to like my experience from the beginning. After the phone interviews, I spoke with 2 directors and the hiring manager at an on-site interview. The interview was very positive and I received an offer in the following week.
