200 Cellebrite employees worldwide have gathered to create the future of Cellebrite using AI. Over 20 remarkable ideas were born, dozens of pizzas were eaten, but most importantly, we got a sneak peek into the future- and it looks bright. This was our first global AI hackathon!
Cellebrite is dedicated to making the world a safer place while ensuring human dignity and liberty in every corner of the globe. Within this framework, we have always strived to create a work environment where our people feel valued, respected, and empowered to be their authentic selves. Today, we officially kicked off Pride Month by coloring our offices worldwide to support the critical message this month promotes. Up next are the launches of two new partnerships with LGBTQ+ organizations and a series of initiatives that include an exclusive event, DE&I workshop and global lectures —and that's just the beginning. Happy Pride Month from us, team Cellebrite.
It's always fun to see our people around the globe creating memorable moments together. Here are some highlights from our team-building day in Germany!
He joined Cellebrite during his second year of computer science studies. Today, he's a senior developer working on a product that helps investigators solve complex crimes. This is Avihay Arzuan's story: "I started working at Cellebrite four and a half years ago. It all started when a good friend told me he works at a company that gives police investigators around the world the tech they need to stay a step ahead of sophisticated criminals. He mentioned that this company genuinely makes the world a safer place, which was an exciting story for a computer science student to hear. After doing some detective work, I discovered that Cellebrite's technology helps law enforcement organizations manage and extract forensic evidence through a physical connection. It assists investigators worldwide in gaining insights that contribute to the resolution of cases related to the most heinous criminal networks. That's when I realized I wanted to work for a company that makes such a difference." Keep reading by clicking on the pic :)
“Hi, I’m Richard Hale, and for the past year, I’m proud to be part of Cellebrite’s Training Development team. In my role, I teach customers from all over the world how to use our digital forensic tools for investigating crimes and analyzing digital evidence. Before coming to Cellebrite, I was a Senior Lecturer and Course Director of the Digital Forensics Degree at Birmingham City University. My main Digital Forensics experience and knowledge come from over a decade working in the private Digital Forensics industry as a Senior Digital Forensics Investigator and Laboratory Manager so joining Cellebrite was a no-brainer given my deep interest in forensics and my passion for training. Today I travel the globe training industry professionals from the private sector and law enforcement to get the most from utilizing our products for their digital evidence needs and day-to-day investigations." “My career has been a rollercoaster ride. How else do you connect a sound engineer with worldwide law enforcement organizations and Android development? My name is Ron Solomon, and I recently moved back to Israel after living in Berlin. While abroad, I put my degree in sound to good use by collaborating with musicians and even performing in front of 50,000 people! When the time came to raise my daughter, I knew it would be in Israel. Tel Aviv felt like home from the start. I joined an app development firm specializing in video and audio content on the artistic side of things. While I was there, my interest in coding grew. After some friends recommended that I take an Android development course, I realized this was my calling. Click the pic to read more :)
He is a father of 2, a former police officer, a Counter-Terrorism specialist with 27 years of experience, and in his spare time- he may be riding a motorcycle or SCUBA diving. Meet John Kilburn, Australia/New Zealand Senior Account Manager. “Hi everyone, I'm John and in the past four years, I’ve been assisting Australian and New Zealand Law Enforcement agencies by combining digital intelligence solutions. Using my previous work experience, my main goal is to transform their platforms, processes, and people through procurement processes to achieve best practices and improve outcomes for the agency and the public. "Back when I was studying in the Yeshiva, which is a place of in-depth religious Jewish studies, I would never have dreamed one day I’d be leading a project using AI to help bust the most heinous criminal networks. But here I am, talking to you about it. Hi, I'm Adiel Cahana of 2023 – a new father, a baking enthusiast, and a data scientist at Cellebrite. My journey started a decade ago when I was a neuroscience major at Bar Ilan University. Years later, I’ll never forget this one specific lecture from my freshman year that made me fall in love with AI. During the lecture, the professor demonstrated how he’d taught a computer to speak like a human. At first, I was totally sceptical. But, as the minutes passed, the babbling gradually turned into whole sentences that started making sense. It blew my mind and still does, how quickly computers can embrace human abilities such as studying. So, in my sophomore year, I switched tracks to a double major in neuroscience and computer science. "Hi, I'm Jonathan, and that’s me in the picture on stage at the recent BlueHat IL conference. I’m telling the audience about “RingHopper”, a security breach I discovered together with a friend, which affects almost every computer in the world. Almost every time someone turns on their PC, their BIOS is vulnerable to “RingHopper”. It is inside a special operating mode where the processor is the most susceptible, and any damage to the system may be irreversible. The vulnerability we exposed basically allows hackers to penetrate billions of personal computers and do whatever they desire with them. I can assure you I wouldn't be here if it weren't for the unique path I took. Joining Cellebrite was incredible. Our technology extracts forensic evidence via a physical connection from suspicious devices, supports police investigators in thwarting criminals, and ultimately, putting them behind bars before they can cause more harm. Yes, our work changes lives. I am proud to say we are not just another ordinary team - our daily actions contribute to making this world a saffer place.
We are excited to have the opportunity to bring together leading experts, government officials, and industry professionals to discuss the latest trends and strategies in digital intelligence in Manila, Philippines today. We would like to extend our thanks to attendees and our speakers, especially H.E Mr Ilan Fluss, Ambassador of the State of Israel to Republic of the Philippines and Atty Raul T. Vasquez, Undersecretary of the Department of Justice, for their invaluable presence and support.
