Pros

1) Hard-working team members 2) Enterprise Software is a good solution that the company should focus on and stick to

Cons

1. Layoffs and High Employee Turnover The company has a high rate of layoffs and employee attrition. If you make one wrong move or aren’t part of the "inner circle" with upper management, there’s a very real risk of being laid off. Within just six months, you could find yourself working with an entirely different team, or, in some cases, entire departments may be closed down. The constant turnover creates a sense of instability and unpredictability within the workplace. 2. Micromanagement and Lack of Trust Although one of the company's core values was "Trust," this has since been removed from their company page. Trust is clearly not a priority here. Instead, expect to be micromanaged heavily. For example, employees are required to send the CEO a "Friday 5" — a report of five things they accomplished during the week. In addition to this, weekly 1:1 meetings are scheduled where management scrutinizes your work, often pressuring employees to work long hours to deliver internal initiatives. The constant need to report back on every task is exhausting and counterproductive. 3. Lack of Understanding Around Human Resources The company’s leadership, including C-level executives and directors, seem to have little understanding of what Human Resources truly entails. HR knowledge/experience is not there with the company. The disconnect between management and their understanding of HR has led to a lack of support for employees in navigating workplace challenges and efficient growth of the company. 4. Ineffective Hiring Strategy The hiring strategy at this company leaves much to be desired. Although they bring in people for high-level positions, their input and opinions are often disregarded, regardless of their experience or expertise. If your perspective doesn’t align with senior management, it’s essentially like talking to a wall. Additionally, the company often hires for positions that either aren’t necessary or don’t align with the industry. These roles are frequently eliminated after a short period, and some employees have been hired and let go within a span of just four months. 5. Unclear or Changing Company GoalsThe company frequently shifts its goals and priorities, which creates confusion and a lack of direction for employees. This constant change makes it difficult to stay focused on long-term objectives, as teams are often redirected without clear communication on why or how these changes align with the company's overall vision. This lack of stability can lead to frustration and a sense of uncertainty among staff, making it hard to feel confident in the company's future direction. Decisions are often made without input from the product team or consideration of customer needs. It's still unclear how decisions are actually made, as they often seem to be based on assumptions rather than data or strategic insight. 6. Poor Work-Life Balance The company places heavy demands on employees, often expecting long hours and weekend work, which makes it difficult to maintain a healthy work-life balance. There is little regard for personal time, and flexibility is limited. Employees are frequently pressured to stay late or take on additional tasks, leaving little room for rest or personal commitments. This constant work pressure leads to burnout and a decrease in overall morale, as it becomes clear that personal well-being is not prioritized by the organization.

Pros

- Amazing, smart and hardworking colleagues - Good product & cool clients.

Cons

There is absolutely no process or strategy to achieve KPIs, the goal posts are constantly being moved, with a like or lump it attitude. There is a cycle of hire and fire / push out in order to blame these employees for the reason unrealistic targets aren't being met. Most higher management are completely out of their depth, specifically the CEO & COO. Good work and effort is not recognized or appreciated. There is absolutely zero room for growth here, both personally and professionally. It is expected you are an expert and the best of the best at your role, without any guidance, training, or support. Upper management have no respect or appreciation for employees, they are simply a number and nothing more. There are zero perks & benefits working here, it is expected your below average salary and annual leave is enough to keep you happy, motivated, and satisfied. I could truly go on and on about all the cons.

Thank you for your feedback. At Wayleadr, we are proud of our high-performance culture. We set ambitious goals, operate with urgency, and hold ourselves to a standard of excellence — especially those in leadership roles. These expectations drive our success, and we seek team members who thrive in this environment and are committed to being the best at what they do. Our expectations are clearly outlined during the hiring process, reinforced at onboarding, and aligned at the start of each year. We understand that not everyone may find this level of accountability and drive to be the right fit — and that’s okay. We invest heavily in training, development, and support to empower our team. However, we hire smart, capable professionals who take ownership of their success. We provide guidance, not micromanagement. We expect our team to take initiative, ask questions, and seek out the many opportunities available to grow. Our leadership team stands behind our employees and their contributions. We promote from within, recognize exceptional work, and create opportunities for those who step up. Respect and accountability are two-way streets — success at a fast-growing company requires both. We understand that Wayleadr may not be the right fit for everyone, and that’s part of the journey. We appreciate your contributions and wish you the very best in your next chapter.

Pros

Cool product, in theory anyway.

Cons

The leadership team are great at selling themselves but there isn't much substance underneath the surface. CEO announced on a teamwide call that he had just discovered the product was SaaS - how he had managed to secure funding not knowing just shows... Even though they promote their values weekly, they are just there to tick the box. They are not ingrained in the culture. Courage is one of their values but anyone who speaks up and disagrees with the CEO doesn't stay/ last at the company long. There's very little diversity in the company, entire leadership team is male.
