Pros

The people. There are a lot of amazing, smart, and caring individuals spread out across all the different teams.

Cons

Pay is well below market average and high turnover rates (for specific departments). Upper management is a lot of talk, little action and with lots of redirecting. No clear path of growth and career opportunities. The software has a lot of bugs and Sales would constantly oversell the product.

Pros

I've been a Solution Consultant in the SF office for under a year, and I absolutely love it. Great working environment, funny and exceptionally competent co-workers, cool office perks (catered lunch every day! office dogs! board game nights! all the la croix you can drink!), and - most importantly - a product I truly believe in and enjoy selling. The company is doing really well, with an excellent product and great talent. Looking forward to being here when WalkMe inevitably ends up going public!

Cons

Honestly, I can't think of many. The only con I can think of can easily be viewed as a pro: the company's in a growth phase, so we have the occasional growing pains; that being said, I have faith and trust in both middle and upper management, so I'm not actually concerned.

Pros

Flexible on working from home. Great office location. Startup with growth opportunities (if you shake the right hands).

Cons

Lack of teamwork. Management and communication (across company) is clunky and highly disorganized. Most departments are overworked, stressed, and under experienced. Bad tempers / big egos in upper management felt throughout company.

Pros

The company currently has some talented individuals working in R&D, but their continued presence remains uncertain.

Cons

After years of turmoil, upper management has finally identified the culprits behind the product stability issues: the developers. Not the lack of cohesion between teams, the absence of effective technical leadership or the policy that perpetuated the expansion of a sprawling legacy system with no tests. The developers are to blame and so the sole new strategy for battling these issues is to attack the developers. The company is now demanding zero bugs, measuring teams by the amount of bugs they create and blaming the developers when that strategy inevitably fails. It's no wonder that the developers who are actually working towards improving the quality of the product are escaping the company.

WalkMe Up Before You Go Go

Pros

I have been working at WalkMe full time for almost a year and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I think WalkMe provides the best of both worlds in that it has both a startup culture but has the stability of a more established (500+) company. I appreciate the time upper management (namely our CEO) puts into openly sharing the direction of our product and company on a fairly frequent basis.

Cons

The company is scaling fairly rapidly and there have been shifts in management every now and again (but I think it is, overall, for the better). There are open lines of communication as to why changes are happening and most changes have been promotions from within. I can only see the GG bridge from the office on sunny days.

Standard but lots of changes

Pros

Good compensation, many ways to get additional bonuses on top of your salary and commission such as sprinter spiffs, etc. Managers are supportive of your growth and champion you when you do well. Good culture and lots of happy hours and company events.

Cons

Lots of changes, upper management seems detached from the rest of the sales org and initiates changes without considering the implications on the BDRs and AEs.

Pros

- Fun coworkers - Work life balance - Fun environment (happy hour, dogs, video games, young) - Learn a lot depending on your role

Cons

- Very underpaid compared to other positions with similar responsibilities at other tech companies - Many upper level managers are only there because of nepotism or they are Israeli. Some of the upper management has no impact or little knowledge on how to actually manage the department or people below them. - R&D is in Te Aviv. Terrible product communication with the US office. - Sales team sells products that aren’t even ready or over promises things to customers which results in angry clients churning - CEO is immature, lacks leadership, and parties too much
