      UU Company Review

      Pros

      UU has a great health care scheme for employees as well as frequent visits from external companies to check employees physical health, benefits such a discounts for gyms or shopping retailers, great pension scheme, good competitive salaries with opportunities for progression and bonuses, good work life balance and flexibility if needed, good facilities for working mothers and free car park at all sites.

      No negative aspects to working at UU

      Great salary and benefits. Fantastic people and leadership Friendly and welcoming culture, while remaining professional and laser focussed on operational goals One of the best companies I have worked for, can’t say much more than that!

      Pros

      United Utilities give a good work/life balance. I have found the company to have great benefits and good salaries.

      Cons

      Overall the company is quite old fashioned in regards to systems it uses and some ways of working - sometimes there seems to be a lot of micro managing (from senior/older managers) however, you can see the younger generation of managers give far more flexibility and trust, which builds a better team morale and effective ways of working.

      Work-Life Balance: UU really promotes a healthy work-life balance, which includes wellbeing support and flexible working in some roles Feeling appreciated: The company makes you feel valued and appreciated for your hard work. Career progression: Due to the size and diverse nature of the company, the opportunities to develop are huge. Benefits: They offer a great range of benefits, including salary, health care benefits, annual leave etc.

      Technology: Can sometimes be a bit behind the times but its good to see us start to embrace new technology
