Pros

There are some nice people and the benefits are decent.

Cons

This company is a disaster. It’s run by people who don’t know how to scale, so they blame everyone else and practice unfathomable levels of gaslighting. For a company of just around 300 people, they have let go of about 100 in the past year. Many of the decisions are based on emotions, not data, although they will claim it’s based on data. Employees are treated like children who don’t know how to communicate properly or send a calendar invite the right way. There’s zero autonomy as the most people are asked to send weekly reports of every single thing they are working on to a huge group of people, and then more often than not will get called out in front of a large audience. Public shaming is something that gets the leadership off. It’s sad how this company has progressively gone downhill. Everyone is constantly scared for their jobs and many of my colleagues were forced out for no reason. There’s speculation they are slimming down quite a bit so when they do sell the company, only the core people will make any money. They also have a big issue with recruiting because of their poor reputation in the industry. Most of the good reviews here are from employees who were asked by HR to write something positive. Very much solicited. If you’re thinking about a role here, please take this feedback seriously and reconsider.

Transmit Security Response

Like many technology companies, Transmit found it challenging to hire during the pandemic and unfortunately many employees were not a fit for our startup culture. We understand that it's not for everyone. Our culture is about moving very quickly, innovating fast, complete transparency, serving the customer, and direct interaction with our very ambitious founders and executives. Transmit is profitable, which we believe shows our approach is working, however, we are always looking for ways to improve ourselves and our organization. We encourage employees to leave honest reviews on Glassdoor and no one is required to do so, while also completing regular internal employee surveys to help us improve. We are disappointed that you had a poor experience at Transmit and wish you the best of luck. Thank you, HR

Pros

There are absolutely no pros for working for this company stay far away

Cons

Lol this company is a complete joke. Again they don't know how to scale hired a CMO and a CRO only to let them go shortly thereafter. I will confirm the level of micromanagement, weekly reports plus SFDC plus emails after every single meeting with a client. Figure out a way to collect data for god's sake. I have heard similar stories of public shaming. Its very disappointing. On top of that there is a culture of toxicity where certain folks feel they are part of the core circle so take liberties with other employees like intimidation tactics. Biggest mistake I ever made!!!!

Pros

interesting technology, founders have great connections into top financial institutions

Cons

half of the sales organization's time and energy is spent discussing the shifting mood of one of the founders, who can be brutal and insulting at the drop of a hat. way too much stress across the organization anticipating his next blow up. executive team can't make decisions out of fear he will disagree and chastise
