      Pros

      Executive team has managed the company very well such that there isn’t pressure to do shareholder-influenced layoffs just to goose some quarterly reports. They have a long term vision. Data science managers are great at rotating the team around in a way that meshes the team’s current work with people’s interest as best as possible. The team is very much “full stack” DS so this a great place to grow your experience. Phenomenal work life balance, just get your work done. Internal promotion rate feels high.

      Cons

      Certain types of modeling work may not be available for long periods of time, lack of a dedicated data engineering team, tooling for things like CI/CD and A/B testing can be clunky, some frustrations around getting on product teams’ roadmaps
