      Great coworker but micromanage by operations manager

      Pros

      Very relaxed and easy job most of time. Great pay and benefits, good work to life balance

      Cons

      Upper management, interaction with federal government was hard due to the manager of the federal government representative was on a power trip

      Pros

      Working with the former SNAP management team as they kept open lines of communication, transparency, and worked hard to help OFS operate until they could not salvage the project because of OFS dictatorship.

      Cons

      OFS removed the former management and attempted to run the project with zero experience. I asked for help and the lady who might be related to the CEO told me that I should know it by now. The lady didnt even know what my name was even though she looked me up in the system.

      Pros

      I love most being part of a solid and supportive team. It's a cliché, but it really does feel like family. I love the universally positive attitude; that stems from our CEO, so it permeates throughout the organization. I love not being slotted into a single role / function based solely on what I was hired to do. I'm constantly given opportunities to do more, learn more, and gain new knowledge and skills. I love being recognized and rewarded for my contributions: individually, as part of the team I work with directly, and as part of the company.

      Cons

      (These are cons only for someone who's not comfortable outside their comfort zone.) If you want a job with duties that are always routine and predictable, that require nothing of you that you don't already know ... If you want a job that offers no challenges, or opportunities for growth ... ... OFS probably isn't a good fit for you.
