51% positive business outlook
Pros
Good company. Good CEO.
Cons
Grew too fast for it's own good. Management doesn't give clear goals or expectations. Puts people in higher management roles that don't deserve to be there.
Pros
Free lunch on Fridays. EXCELLENT management. CEO and the other higher-ups made an effort to get to know everyone and listen to us. Very flexible with hours. Typically they wanted you at work the same time every day, but they understood that things happen and were always understanding. People think this company is a scam, but they are very reasonable and honest. Pay was great with opportunities for commission.
Cons
Some of the customers honestly sucked. Got yelled at a lot and got called scum, moron, idiot, etc. You're basically helping elderly people and if their problem isn't fixed fast enough then in their eyes you don't know anything and they say that they are going to the FBI (LOL).
Pros
Great work environment, good pay, flexible hours, and management that is understanding. People looking for assistance come to us either on purpose or by accident, it is always made known to the customer that we are an independent party, and that our services are not for free. There is no lying to the people My Fast PC helps which I appreciate.
Cons
Sometimes work can be a little slow some days
Pros
The CEO and COO are 2 of the most down to earth, caring individuals I've ever worked for. All of the management team is great, I've never had better managers. It's an easy going atmosphere, and everyone works together and works hard. The health insurance is amazing! Free lunch Fridays! Cash spiffs!
Cons
no cons for me, I love it here!
Pros
The company has some great people there. Management was nice and there is ability to make a good amount of money.
Cons
The sales tactics are extremely shady. I found it hard trying to scam a bunch of old people into paying for something that they probably don't need.
Pros
The culture is Phenomenal! Everyone is so upbeat and just feels more like a family. Management is amazing and always has your best interest in mind. The Analyst, Customer Service, and Techs are all amazing as well. Everyone works hard to keep the customer happy and truly works hard for every individual customer. 10 out of 10 for service and for employment. All of the employees truly believe in our product and our services.
Cons
Literally NO cons I can think of. Truly a wonderful company to work for
Pros
Every employee is invested in each others success. An organization is only as strong as its weakest link and My Fast PC does everything to ensure that they foster growth and set you up for success. Fantastic work environment. Great management. Its a company the genuinely cares for and values it employees. Fantastic benefits! The coworkers are the best. Everyone is anxiously engaged in a good cause and the energy on the floor is extremely contagious. I would be lying if I didn't say that there are days that I literally cant wait to go into work!
Cons
Obviously no job is perfect and there is always room for improvement. My only complaint would be that sometimes there isn't sufficient staff to support the needs of their clients and there could be more employees to help with the work load.
Pros
The job is cold calling, which isn't too hard. Free food! Co-workers are awesome, as are the sales supervisors.
Cons
Management can make changes quickly to pay scale, or other factors before you're prepared.
Pros
Friendly coworkers and nice office space.
Cons
Everything. Your job is to sell people a service that they don't need. The salesmen are trained to flat out lie to potential customers through the entire phone call. The management advertises that elderly people are the main customer base because they are vulnerable and trusting. The company has put a large amount of money into SEO, so that when people search for help logging into their email, they will be given this company's number. 90% of the people I talked to were old people who thought they were calling AOL. Once you get on the phone with the lead, you walk them through a "diagnostic program" which tells them about "potential risks" to their computer. This program will result in warnings and scary red symbols 100% of the time, even on a perfectly healthy computer. This "diagnosis" is the biggest lie of them all and it was painful to work for a company that bases its profit off of the vulnerability of senior citizens. I felt like I had to go home and take a shower after work every day. If you are considering working for this company, I recommend you go through their training, then afterwards, independently verify every piece of information they give you. They don't only lie to their customers, but they lie to their salesmen as well. If the salesmen believe they are doing a good thing, they are more likely to stick around.
Pros
My fast pc has been one of the best jobs I've ever had, the management is great and always willing to help in any way they can. The co workers also friendly and dont sick to be around. I have truly enjoyed my time at my fast pc. The only reason I left was to move out of state to be closer to my family
Cons
No real cons to this job other then its sales. It has its ups and downs and the occasional old person that has no clue what they are doing on the computer.
