      There are a ridiculous, if not impossible, number of sales goals to reach. The way they track your sales is not accurate and you get flagged for things beyond your control. The branch I worked at was constantly busy and I can see why that branch was always hiring. Lots of turnover as well. Also if you are 1 minute late, you get flagged. Even if it's because the computer takes 5 minutes to load, it's still your fault.

      Flexible Schedule on the business team. 401(k) is amazing. Healthcare is great.

      Poor leadership across the board starting with VPs. C-Suite claims to be transparent, but then people (VPs) who are friends with the CEO get hired out of the blue. Poor PTO plan. No cost of living adjustments on already poor salaries. Does not value tenured employees. Prefers to hire new, cheap labor instead of treating invaluable tenured employees with dignity and a fair pay.

      Company culture is toxic. There are too many cliques and the company targets employees over time with whatever they can to thin the group.

      Great retirement contribution matching, friendly coworkers/managers, learning opportunities, annual performance incentive, salary is standard

      Cons

      Lack of consistency among expectations from branch to branch and among departments. A lot of changes happen during short periods of time and can be challenging to adjust to/enforce. Culture and integrity has always been important at Members 1st, but it appears it’s gradually becoming less important as the company grows. PTO package is less than most competing financial institutions.

      Busier Work Periods: Growth can bring more tasks, like managing new member accounts or loans, which may occasionally mean a busier schedule or extra hours. Adapting Systems: As the credit union expands, some processes or tools may take time to catch up, causing minor hiccups until new systems are fully in place.
