Pros

Zilch, Don't even think to get hired here.

Cons

The organization suffers from a lack of clear vision and direction from management. Priorities often shift without proper communication, leaving teams confused about expectations and long-term goals. Workload is consistently high, yet there is little recognition or appreciation for employees’ efforts. At times, it feels like employees are treated as resources to deliver output rather than valued contributors. Work-life balance is a significant concern. There is an implicit expectation—often reinforced by HR—that employees should be available beyond reasonable working hours. This creates an environment where personal time is not respected and boundaries are blurred. Leadership at multiple levels, especially among HODs, tends to be driven by ego rather than collaboration. This creates a challenging work environment where open communication and idea-sharing are limited. There is also noticeable instability in leadership roles. Frequent changes and restructuring at the top create uncertainty and disrupt continuity, making it difficult for teams to align and perform effectively. Additionally, internal politics and power dynamics at the management level significantly impact decision-making and overall workplace culture. There is a noticeable increase in attrition, with many employees choosing to leave the organization. Instead of addressing the root causes, certain decisions seem to place additional pressure on the remaining employees, making the work environment more stressful and difficult to sustain.

Pros

You can attract only by tempting environment

Cons

I don’t know who says this is a great place to work, but my experience has been absolutely terrible. The Shoemart category is the worst, with a toxic work culture and zero employee support. The HR department is useless—they only focus on hiring and do nothing to address employee concerns or workplace issues. One of the biggest problems is Kumar Rishikesh, who is highly toxic. He constantly interferes in everyone’s personal and professional life, creating a stressful and depressing environment. His superiority complex is unbearable, and he goes out of his way to belittle people in lower positions, often making remarks that are completely below the belt. Instead of fostering teamwork, he thrives on pulling others down. If you’re looking for a workplace that values its employees, offers a positive environment, and promotes growth, stay far away from this place. It’s nothing but a stressful and demoralizing experience. Whole buying and planning heads and managers are extremely bossy and unsupportive and do not value junior employees. Absolutely no work-life balance — employees are expected to work on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) without any consideration. Long, unnecessary meetings for hours on weekends. Although the company offers a Work From Home (WFH) policy, managers don't allow employees to utilize it, which is unfair and against company policy. No respect or value for employees' time and mental health. Would not recommend working here at all!
