Pros
No one is really paying attention. This allows you the freedom to make the job your own, but also means you have no real support, no matter what role you're in.
Cons
The owners are way out of touch with current business trends and reality as a whole. They don't pay anyone enough, or develop value in the employees they have. They essentially want to use people for whatever they currently bring to the table, not really help them to learn anything new or give them the tools they need to do the current job, and then spit them back out when that situation becomes untenable to either party.
