Pros

Competitive pay, unlimited PTO, amazing insurance, wonderful people, nice work from home budget, best of the best education stipend.

Cons

Laid off 27% of the work force, employees from as many as 4 years to as little as 3 months were impacted. Leadership needs a reality check. Leadership is out of touch with what is really happening in the market, with their teams, etc. We have tons of meetings so you’d think they’d understand but no.

• CTO with a passion for open source software and loved by developers • Strong and welcoming culture created by employees • Good work life balance, though it is getting harder • Solid product and bright peers in engineering/product

Cons

• Pay is bad. No raises. Many of us casually talk about leaving because the job market is really good right now • # of employees has grown and its become harder to balance getting everyone up to speed and also doing the job for those of us who have been here a while • Leadership team is either aloof or unaware of the day to day challenges employees face. Misalignment, poor planning and accountability issues are slowing things down

Unfortunately, all of the cons outweigh the pros: - very poor product vision and management - can't make up their minds what they want to sell other than a database - no vision - management is all talk and no execution Avoid this company
