with the trust and autonomy, there is also more responsibilities expected. It can be overwhelming depending on the type of person you are.
Sometimes there are things you are expected to do outside your work function but there is lack of training.
There is also a lack of structure. Things like career progression and development is not as clear as you’d expect at other companies.
these may not really cons but It’s an environment much suited for individuals who are strong self starters, self-directed/managing, who are ok with the unknowns and don’t need much hand holding.
