Almost nothing that is worth mentioning

Cons

The list of horrible things is too long, but root cause is bad senior management, who are not even aware what hapens at the company, they do not care about the staff, they lie, are completely incompetent, most of the time are not even in the office.

Stuck in status quo

Pros

Existing products/tech/solutions are the main drivers of the business - what works, works. Seemingly innovative new solutions/concepts have been introduced, specifically digital solutions. Some of the smaller teams/departments are tight-knit and can provide a great working environment. Overall staff are friendly in general and provide support where needed.

Cons

Company remains stuck in status quo - archaic and slow processes, leading to huge inefficiencies across the business. Initiatives on the roadmap gets shifted and deprioritized often, leading to timelines getting pushed out. Often has an "inside-out" perception of market wants and needs - build new solutions and ask staff to go sell and not take into account customer feedback or accurately assess changing market dynamics. Solutioning for clients is quite inefficient, often leading to delays. Planning could be better or completed ahead of time to ensure specific priorities are addressed as soon as possible. Compensation and benefits do not reflect responsibilities of the role and pale in comparison to market standard. Leadership and management tend to micro-manage a lot of the time. Often get advised that there is autonomy, yet decisions must be vetted by management before anything gets done. Barely any training program or onboarding process - you are left to figure things out while getting consistently demoralized by management. Does not help boost confidence when in the role.

There aren’t any you don’t have any benefits as an intern

No growth, after the internship ends they just keep you as an intern cos they don’t wanna pay No benefits They claim competitive pay but it’s not Hostile toxic environment Favouritism Lack of guidance from management

Nothing great about this company, a German company that the Nigerian management has messed up. This people left me as a graduate trainee for close to 2 years without a plan, there was no information from the HR team or management. I had to resign to save my career.

Bad company, a sweatshop

Started to change for better, but changed back

Cons

Work for it since called Valid with low wages, benefits and PTO. Then new company purchased and became a little better. But the wages are still low, the annual bonus is a joke, say raises are automatic, but raises small if they give one. Had a Christmas party, Employee Appreciation Day, etc. But changed back. No Christmas party for floor workers, but one for managers and office. The last Employee Appreciation Day the company fired a bunch of us. A few weeks later there were ads for hiring. Insurance high. Have to stand for the entire shift, 10 or 12 hours, sometimes in one spot. Management no clue how to fix and not want to fix. Lost business because of poor management.
