You are not expected to know anything from your past experiences. Just two strict rules apply here: Rule#1: seniors are supreme, and you know nothing. Rule#2: simply follow the Rule#1 religiously.
Cons
It is a serious crime if one dares suggest/recommend new, or a logical thinking to stinking old sacks, so called SENIORS in the team. Each one wakes up with a fear of loosing their employment and that drives them miles in saving their jobs in every negative way required (including ganging up and against talented people). The so called management is helpless, and have zero control over all of these. If you are good at your stuff, you are bound to get frustrated seeing some brainless and lazy decisions the seniors made...
