Pros

Some amazing people here. Yes many left with HQ move but they hired in a lot of good people. The interim CEO is well known and well liked by many and has the right intentions. Wants the company to win. Strategy for the company is sound. Pay is good, benefits are good, amenities at the HQ are good.

Cons

Company went from an exciting headquarters move to a real turnaround situation. Stock price says a lot right now even it not all of that is due to things that leaders can control. Leaner times are ahead for the next year despite pressure to really execute.

Fair pay overshadowed by toxic junior management culture

Pros

Fair pay and benefits package

Cons

Toxic and junior league fake VPs who overpromise and put immense strain on their teams. Absolute junior tenured VPs bully their staff and despite many resignations the "leaders" continue to berate and bully others while getting praise and recognition from their executive leadership team.

Pros

Benefits and coworkers were great, that's about it

Cons

After forcing people to make a decision to relocate to Chicago or lose their job, they also lied to an entire department about being able to work "remote" to only tell them that they their jobs would be outsourced to a different country and they would actively train their replacements over the course of a year. This was by far the hardest, worst thing I've ever done career wise. I've only heard horrible things since I've left and that it has continued to get worse. Senior management does not care about the people in the trenches doing the actual work, they only care about their paycheck and the bottom line. So many lives have been destroyed career wise with the decisions made by this company.

Pros

Some nice products and decent benefits

Cons

Literally everything else. Cannot put into words how terrible leadership is. This company is a classic example of overreliance on consulting firms instead of relying on your long time employees-- none of whom are there anymore because of their "move to Chicago or resign" mandate which was just undercover layoffs. Truly terrible and toxic culture. No one knows what they are doing anymore because of the constant change and upheaval. Used to love my job there but it's now just budget cuts and backstabbing chaos. I developed job stress-related health issues I will have the rest of the life during the tenure here. Even if the pay and benefits seem decent, it's not worth it.

Pros

Decent benefit package overall, but it's being chipped away bit by bit.

Cons

They just cut the equivalent of a week of PTO with a radical cut to summer hours, which was one of the few superior benefits they provided. That is on the tail of paying out only a tiny fraction of the annual bonus, while paying the incompetent CEO millions and millions. There is a constant demand to do more with less, but there is only so much of that one can do, so the result is doing less. Constant drum beat to find ways to cut labor spend, regardless of impact. It's sad to see what they're doing. Destroying great American companies.
