Micro-aggression.
Lack of training. Honestly speaking this is one of the biggest cons for me because this job made me anxious, loose sleep, have panic attacks and all that could have been helped if I knew what I was doing or had some sort of security in the job. There is no clear structure for any part of the business which means that no formal training programme can be put in place.
There is a culture of bullying and if you don’t fit the part they will find a way to get rid of you. Alternatively they will make you so uncomfortable, you’ll leave.
Extremely unprofessional work environment. I can’t emphasise this enough.
Favouritism. You need to know someone, who knows someone to get into any management position. This explains the lack of diversity amongst their senior management team.
Covid.
This company was extremely irresponsible with covid and it’s some of the worst I have ever seen. Track and trace is a diary that doesn’t get updated as often as it should. Operatives that have been to homes were allowed to walk into the office and sometimes without a mask or any form of PPE.
There was a huge issue with PPE, we were all advised to only use one disposable mask a day.
There was a Covid outbreak in the office and 5 people tested positive. The offices weren’t closed for a deep clean (We were all given equipment to work from home so why this wasn’t done, I don’t know). No gloves are provided to staff, the only other form of protection that is what looked like shoe covers that were placed on a bedside table in reception.
