If you are looking to work at a startup, look pretty much anywhere else. This company has no sense of direction and leadership who’s leading them nowhere. You are expected to work 60+ hours a week while seriously underpaid and the few benefits offered are subpar to say the least. Regardless of your level of expertise in your field, you have no autonomy over your work or team if leadership has a temper tantrum.
Company culture is to shut up and do your job because you’re lucky to be at a startup. High stress levels are mostly due to disorganized leadership, and extra hours are met with little to no professional or personal reward. This is a company you come work at when you’ve exhausted every possible opportunity to no avail. I wish you job seeker better than anything this company has to offer, even during these challenging Covid times.
