Pros

- Lucrative Field Roles for Presenters: Game Presenters enjoy a generous bonus structure and frequent special events, enabling them—when strategically placed on dedicated teams—to outperform even mid‑level management in total compensation. - Vibrant Employee Engagement: The company orchestrates a steady cadence of in‑house events, workshops, and social gatherings, predominantly geared toward non‑managerial staff, fostering camaraderie at the operational level. - Rapid Title Inflation: There exists a superficial “fast‑track” to promotion; ascending to Team Manager (and beyond) can occur swiftly in name, though without the requisite support infrastructure.

Cons

1. Compensation Disparity & Bonus Inaccessibility Although Team Managers receive a base salary of $47,840 plus a nominal $1,000 monthly bonus, achieving that bonus requires sustaining an 80% completion rate of one‑on‑one sessions across a roster of ~70 direct reports. In practice, absent an unusually cohesive team, the bonus is virtually unattainable, rendering management pay less competitive than that of frontline Game Presenters who routinely eclipse managers’ earnings. 2. Perpetual Understaffing & Role Overload Chronic staffing deficits bedevil every shift. Managers are habitually redeployed to fill gaps on the gaming floor, reconstruct schedules at a moment’s notice, and perform duties typically reserved for Floor Supervisors. This relentless churn engenders burnout and diverts focus from core coaching and team‐development responsibilities. 3. Fragmented Onboarding & Tool Scarcity Upon promotion, new managers confront a dearth of formal training and delayed provisioning of essential tools. Requests for access frequently languish for 4–8 weeks, contingent on the availability and goodwill of an overburdened Senior Team Manager. Such delays compromise early effectiveness and erode confidence. 4. Absence of Probationary Safeguards & Meritocracy There is no probationary buffer for newly minted managers. Underperformance is met not with retraining but with termination. Moreover, progression to Senior Team Manager hinges less on tangible achievements and more on proximity to upper‑level decision‑makers, perpetuating an insidious nepotism that demoralises high performers excluded from the inner circle. 5. Inept & Inaccessible HR Support Human Resources operates with an alarming lack of accountability. HR representatives vacate the premises shortly after standard business hours, leaving night and weekend managers adrift. Queries—whether policy clarifications or benefits issues—routinely bounce back to managers, compounding administrative burdens without recourse. 6. Managerial Liability & Emotional Toll of Terminations Team Managers, not company executives, are tasked with executing staff terminations, fielding the attendant emotional and legal ramifications without dedicated guidance or psychological support—an untenable expectation that inflates stress and liability. 7. Rampant Turnover & Eroded Morale Over the past year, nearly every Floor Supervisor and a majority of Team Managers have either resigned in frustration or been dismissed. Such churn undermines institutional knowledge, disrupts team cohesion, and signals an endemic leadership crisis.

Pros

Nothing is positive in this place

Cons

Toxicity, Unprofessionalism, and Incompetence. I’ve had the misfortune of being part of the absolute disaster that is Evolution. This place has managed to excel in all the wrong aspects, creating an environment that is nothing short of a nightmare. Where do I even begin? First off, let’s talk about the toxic work environment. It’s as if negativity runs through the veins of this company. The lack of camaraderie is astonishing, and it’s evident that trust is an alien concept here. And let’s not forget about the employees themselves. The level of unprofessionalism is mind-boggling. It’s almost as if they picked random individuals off the street without any regard for their qualifications or background. The result? An assembly of incompetence that somehow passes as a team. I’ve seen people struggle with tasks that should be basic for their roles, and it’s a miracle that this company manages to function at all. But wait, it gets better – or worse. The management at Evolution is a case study in poor leadership. And if you dare to voice your concerns, be prepared to be met with dismissive attitudes and a complete lack of accountability. The lack of recognition for hard work and dedication is demoralizing. People with good experience, who could have contributed so much to the company, end up leaving after just a few months. And who could blame. If you enjoy a constant stream of lies and manipulation, this place is your personal paradise. Otherwise, run for the hills – fast. In conclusion, if you’re a glutton for punishment and enjoy being surrounded by incompetence, toxicity, and unprofessionalism, then by all means, join the circus that is Evolution. But if you value your sanity, your career, and your self-respect, run far away and never look back. This company is a black hole that sucks the life out of its employees, leaving them battered and disillusioned. Stay away – you’ll thank me later.

Pros

Greatest job I've ever had. Fun all breaks are paid. Only 8 hours per day not your traditional 8.5 or 9 hour day. They do prefer to hire internally for most positions.

Cons

There leadership doesn't take care of there good people. They are not consistent. They do nothing for their people with seniority, not hourly increase, no bonuses for them, no recognition, no incentives and their turnover rate is tremendously higher ( about 75-90% so if you are looking for a job they are always hiring). They make their good people level and go to their competitions, which is why their turnover over rate is higher than what it probably should be, all of their competitors are paying their people more, with bonus structures they can reach to make even more. More people are about to leave their company because they have a game show host position that is already making more than the shared tip rate for over 400 game presenters when the only have a hand full of presenters for that role. So not a company that one can plan to be with long term because of the challenges mentioned above in addition to unfair rotations. The worst part is how they do some of their best people.

Pros

Good business model, meet great people, provides gaming industry vibe without the risks,

Cons

Doesn't care about its people, no leadership, no trust, only cares about the bottom line, no training and doesn't understand the US labor market. Very stressful, fast paced and they use their employees for company gain.
