It's getting better every day but the disconnect between the sales team and the production team - as expected in a remote position - can be ripe for communication breakdown. This ultimately leads to undue stress placed on the team due to critical project details either not being discussed or forgotten altogether. If the sales team cared about the project beyond the sale, its commission or first couple client calls, it would go a long way with the rest of the team left to work with the client after the sale.
Having started as a *very* small team, the growing pains of implementing a Project Management team has shown promising results and leaves me super hopeful for the future.
Seemingly constant change to process and product offering typically results in the entire production team needing to learn, relearn and remember critical deliverable dates and details. But again, management is aware of this and working to evolve the company and it's offerings so that both the employees are happy and it's clients satisfied.
