44% positive business outlook
Pros
Good work / life balance, strong company values
Cons
Some silos that could improve for better effectiveness
Pros
Strong culture of work life balance, very remote flexible
Cons
Tough time for the industry means lots of cuts
Pros
Excellent employee experience, benefits and well fare considerations. Very flexible around work life balance. Purposeful business empowering creatives, giving back to the community and being philanthropic outside that as well. A certified B corp to boot.
Cons
A lack of overarching company strategy & direction was present whilst i was there. Ultimately leading to a lack of team direction and empowerment. This resulted in a large restructure of the organisation too. People tend to be rewarded through the network of connections they have, rather than the merit of their work or impact.
Pros
The people, teams and challenges. Also - very healthy work/life balance!
Cons
Any I can think of
Pros
Some fantastic and talented people Good work/life balance Decent perks and profit share
Cons
With new CEO, things are getting worse and worse No clear strategy, company on cruise control towards irrelevancy "touch decisions" of redundancy a symptom of lack of direction
Pros
- Great Work Life Balance - Culture is great - People are excellent - The Office is great - Company Events - Perks - The people team make you feel appreciate - Full Remote
Cons
- Career paths are still in progress - Technical debt
Pros
Collaborative environment Working with people who love what they do Expertise of colleagues was outstanding Work life balance encouraged Bullying not tolerated and addressed if arose Regular in person updates from leadership Ask me anything sessions with CEO and execs
Cons
Limitations on was in scope due to legacy code base Costly to deliver minute changes Pivoting the objectives during the quarter when work had already begun Sometimes difficult to get changes across the line due to teams owning pieces of the code that can hinder your ability to deliver what you set out to do
Pros
- Flexible hour - work life balance - friendly and smart people
Cons
- Bullying - lack of direction from management - too much emphasis on marketing - no accountability - teams work against each other, not together - no career progression - pays less than average or what you are worth - all talk on important issues, but no real action - CEO and board of directors are great but are no longer actively involved in the company. it has been left to other far less capable people, with different goals
Pros
You can have a very comfortable work / life balance due to the flexible work hours as well as being able to work from home. Great for those with families. If you are willing to worship the ground management walk on, then you'll be accepted into the pack very quickly and opportunities will be presented in no time for decent career growth.
Cons
Your salary will be well below average for the job you do. Middle management (for the most part) are blind to their mistakes and will try to find others to throw the blame on rather than own up to it. There is a very strong culture of a "cool kids club" so if you're not willing to kiss the ground those in a leadership position walk on, then you'll have an impossible time being acknowledged, let alone heard by if you have an idea on a particular project.
Pros
Great culture, great perks, Salary and work life balance Great people, everyone is always willing to help there are some bonus, christmas bonus, performance bonus, profit shares insurance, vacations. Improving performace plans
Cons
a lot of technical debt career paths constantly change lack of leadership
