Pros

I've been lucky to work at Zendesk for a long time, in different areas, with many excellent colleagues. Overall, I feel very lucky to have the opportunities I have and to work with an outstanding, diverse, and globally-distributed team. The AI wars we're entering into are a crazy time. But I think Zendesk is one of the best places you can be for them. There are challenges, but we're working on them together.

Cons

Being globally distributed, it can be a little hard to box off your workday to certain hours. The company has also gone through pains as the tech market and AI wars have evolved -- layoffs were hard, sometimes we win and sometimes we lose.

Many systems to learn, but this is true for any large company.

Pros

Lots of investment in AI, product development. Can be very nimble and agile when needed. Have driven real process and functional improvement over the last couple years.

Cons

Recent RTO. Leaders make decisions on whim and the rest of the company ends up react mode. Alignment across leadership suite is always great. High exec turnover
