- low salaries - very intense hierarchical structure, common to have several managers. - poorly managed with a lot of office politics & power struggles, lower managers are not allowed to communicate directly with higher managers even if it is required for certain tasks - very strict around set working times with little flexibility - pre approved vacations are not respected and can be cancelled if a manager decides you are needed for a certain meeting etc - little to no training, mantra is “sink or swim” - discount is quite limited
